If you spend 10 minutes a day reading or listening to what the Dems are actually saying, is it any wonder that the GOP will retain control of the gov despite a slew screw ups, scandals, and deception?

Kerry’s latest hit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLuMWiQ6r2o might echo what some people are thinking, but here’s a clue jackass, don’t say it on TV if you plan on running for public office.

no because we created a special category for them called “nomination-by-tangential-acquaintance” but thinking about it, you’d fit right in there as well. i guess the less people in one category, the better chance you have to win a prize in a separate, less populated category.

maybe we need to create another one called “ashley’s-blog-friends.”

1. think of a name you would give to a honeybaked ham.

4. on december 9th at the party we will announce the winners of various naming categories and the overall grand prize winner who names the 2006 ham.

6. it’s crazy this year because d. sedaris and michael ian black have submitted names.

if you wrap the cookies in little baggies with little twisty ties and put a halloween sticker on them, they’ll look better. or maybe just more suspicious. i don’t know. i think the last thing people are worried about these days is candy anyway.

you should read lakoff’s “don’t think of an elephant” - even if you’re not a “left winger” it’s a very good (and short) explanation behind the linguistics and rhetorical framing that conservatives use to so effectively communicate what they want people to hear. it’s so simple but the dems can’t quite grasp it.
