Kozyndan, I’m sure I’ve mentioned them before but I doubt I could ever mention them enough. Pronounced Kozy n Dan (their names), and world renowned for creating worlds all their own, the artistic duo are more than just artists. They’re husband and wife. And from the looks of things they seem to be doing pretty well at both art and marriage.
Gaining popularity from their semi-life-like panoramics, Kozyndan have diversified their talent into a wide range of artistic medium, most of which you can purchase for a price anyone can afford. And that’s the crux of my liking them, I think. They create so many beautiful pieces and then offer them up to the public with little to no mark-up at all. No art-world haughtiness about the soul being what’s worth so much. Blah blah blah. They made it, they want you to have it. Simple.
Don’t take my word for it though. There is a nice little documentary about them for the world to watch. They seem uncomfortable being interviewed, but I can’t blame ‘em. Or maybe they’re just stoned. You decide.
