The Girl and I are moving to San Francisco in August. Surprise! And once we get there and get settled, maybe after a year or so, I hope that we’ll spend at least one night in the Hotel Des Arts. It’s one of San Fran’s most famous hotels and for good reason. Every room is painted by a different artist, and not just the walls, but the furniture and fixtures and all. It’s pretty cheap to stay there from what I can gather eventhough they don’t have prices listed right out. Book your room now and you might get in there in six months or so. And if you do tell me how it was so I can book it for my honeymoon in six years.

alameda has a kickass tiki bar, forbidden island i think it’s called.
