Art I’m At

It’s the first weekend of the month so there are countless art openings around the Bay Area. For those of you in my region, I thought I’d lay out the events I plan on attending. They’re what I like to call “cool” places to be. Because I am a “douchebag”. For those of you not in my region; you probably don’t give two shits about this, so go get yourselves some Frito’s brand corn chips or something. I’m secretly hoping that Frito’s will drop some cash my way for that mention. I’d sell out to those delicious bastards any day. See my art schedule after the jump.

Thursday, April 3th:

Lucy McLauchlan and Slick at Fifty24SF, 252 Fillmore St. (7pm)

Ivy Jacobsen at Hang Art, 556 Sutter St. (8pm)

Friday, April 4th:

Bloom Press Print Sale, 2310 Telegraph Ave., Oakland (5-10pm)

California Dreaming Group Show at Rare Device, 1845 Market St. (6-9pm)

How We Do at Club 6ix, 60 Sixth St. (7pm-2am)

Ryan Scott Shaffer and Kill Pixie at Park Life, 220 Clement St. (7-10pm)

Brianna Lengel-Bail at Julie’s, 1223 Park St., Alameda (7-10pm)

Saturday, April 5th:

Scott Barry at Receiver Gallery, 1415 Valencia St. (7-10pm)

24th and Mission Art Walk (6-9pm)

Send me an email if you know of any shows not listed here that I should be attending. And if you’re out at any of the same shows as me, come shake my hand or give me candy. Like real candy, not drugs. Second thought, drugs are nice, too. Check the about section if you don’t know what I look like. I pretty much always have a dirty CAT hat on. Yeah, I roll in only the dopest threads.
