UK illustrator Richard Hogg has graciously dropped a facefull of color on me this morning. I was starting to worry that today was going to be a standard foggy, black-and-white-er. Then Hogg came along to shine the light of bright colors and quality illustration into my lazy retinas. I think I actually felt my pupils shudder they contracted so fast. I love that he uses such simple shapes, and still creates beautiful and effective work. I’d like to see his work writ large on a wall, better yet, my wall. Anyone out there with a bulgy wallet want to spring for that? I thought not, bunch of ingrates.
