The mid-month art show surge is here so once again I’ll be giving you a nice rundown of the Bay Area shows and events I’ll be staggering around to. If you’re gonna be in and around the Bay this weekend you should try and visit some of these shows, maybe say hi to certain skate-rat art-writers, maybe give him (me) some money or beer. Friday, April 18th:

• 7-10pm - Adam Flores at Gallery Three, 66 Sixth St.
• 8pm-Late - Attack of the B Movies Group Show at Space Gallery, 1141 Polk St.

Saturday, April 19th:

• 11am-5pm - SOMA Open Studios, SOMA
• 6:30-10pm - Group Sects at GRSF, 618 Shrader St.
• 7-10pm - Greg Lamarche and Paul Chatem at White Walls/Shooting Gallery, 839 Larkin St.
• 7-10pm - Nick Meyer at Iceberger Gallery, 3150 18th St.

Sunday, April 20th:

• 2pm until the cops show up - 3 Up 3 Down Best Trick Competition w/ $420 purse, 14th and Mission.
