Falling somewhere between Tim Biskup, James Jean, and Egon Schiele’s nightmares is the work of Veronique Meignaud. I’m pretty hyped on her mix of bright colors and neutral tones, and how every one of her paintings feels like a fairy tale of horror. If it wasn’t so beautiful, I might be a little creeped out.
