Audrey Kawasaki Print Sale

Audrey Kawasaki Sale

If you’re like me and the only way you can afford to buy actual paintings is to perform unspeakable acts in an alley behind the bus station, then you probably buy a lot of prints. Or hopefully visit your doctor very often. Print buyers rejoice, because this Saturday, January 23rd, Audrey Kawasaki will be selling two, count them two, different prints. Now, let’s break it down by the numbers. Each print sells for $100, but you can only buy one, not one of each, just one, so choose wisely. You can buy the print framed for $250. The sale starts at 3:00pm PST and goes until 4pm PST, and everyone that buys in that hour gets a print. The edition size is however many people that is. Show up with your money, get a signed Audrey Kawasaki print. If you’ve been around the block, you know that her prints usually sell out within minutes of being available. Now’s the time to seize an opportunity by the balls and squeeze until it begs you to stop like that guy behind the bus station. I’ve said too much. Go to http://www.audrey-kawasaki.com/sale/ at the right time on the right date to achieve a victory that might wash away your alleyway shame.

Evil Santa

Turkey time is over and we have now entered Crimmas time, a time of year when people give me things, and, as much as I’ve tried to persuade them otherwise, they expect me to give them things in return. Sure I could make something to give them, and it would make them really happy, because look at all the time I spent on it, but that would require me spending a lot of time trying to make people happy, which is not really something I’m into. Assuming that you, like me, would rather just buy something nice and have some cash left over to get yourself something you really want, I’ve compiled a short list of cheap art for you to gift to your loved ones and Secret Santa recipients this year that will leave them smiling and not feeling like they got ripped off even though they got you an iPod. See the list after the jump.

Park Life

Since most of you aren’t in San Francisco or moving there you probably won’t care about Park Life. But I care and as soon as I hit the bay shores I’m gonna carry my ass down there. The fact that their gallery hosted an Ian Johnson show would be enough, but they also sell pretty much every thing that I’ve wanted to put in my house or on my body. Basically we should be best friends. We will be. And then comes the restraining order.
